Set your refund-on-cancellation policy

Tie refunds to subscription status the way you want — a full refund can cancel immediately, schedule for period end, or change nothing.

  • 3 policies
  • Gateway auto-refund
  • Minimum refund guard
No credit card required
FreeAdmin & operations

When you fully refund a subscription’s latest order, what should happen to the subscription? ArraySubs lets you choose: Allow Immediate Refund (cancel now), Refund at End of Period (keep access until the period ends), or No Automatic Refund (refund changes nothing — you manage status manually). You also control automatic gateway refunds and a minimum refund amount. This recipe sets the policy.

What you get
  • A full refund cancels immediately, at period end, or not at all.
  • Gateway refunds can return money automatically (Stripe/PayPal/Paddle).
  • Tiny refunds can be blocked with a minimum.
  • Partial/older-order refunds never auto-change status.

Good to know

Notes & edge cases

Only a full refund of the latest paid order triggers subscription behaviour; partial or older-order refunds don’t.
With Automatic Gateway Refund off, refunds are recorded as manual — you move the money in the processor yourself.
The minimum applies to all refund types, including prorated and store-credit refunds.
