Auto-replace the existing subscription on purchase
For one-plan-per-customer stores — when a customer buys a different plan, swap them over automatically instead of blocking the sale.
- Replaces, not blocks
- Plan-switch proration
- Free core
If you enforce one subscription per customer, a blocked checkout can cost a sale. Auto Migrate to New Subscription turns that block into an automatic switch: buying a new plan replaces the existing one using plan-switching proration. It only fires when ArraySubs matches exactly one existing subscription and the new product is a valid switch target. This recipe enables auto-replace.
- A new purchase replaces the existing subscription automatically.
- Pricing uses plan-switch proration, not a double charge.
- No lost sale from a hard block.
- Falls back to ‘switch manually’ if multiple subs match.
