FreeRestrict & gate

Sometimes you only need to gate a few specific pages — a resource hub, a private guide, a tool. Specific Posts targeting lets you hand-pick the exact pages or posts to lock by ID, leaving the rest of your site open. This recipe gates a chosen set.

What you get
  • Only the selected pages/posts are gated.
  • Everything else stays public.
  • Mix conditions (plan, role, spend) on the same rule.
  • Precise, low-risk gating.

Notes & edge cases

For a single page, you can also restrict it from the post’s own settings — per-post restrictions outrank Post Type rules.
You can combine multiple conditions (e.g. plan AND role) with AND/OR logic.
Use Specific Posts when a taxonomy or whole-type rule would over-gate.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Use Specific Posts for a small, fixed set of pages. Use Taxonomy targeting when you want every post in a category/tag (including future ones) gated.

Yes. Enable restriction on the post itself — those per-post conditions take priority over general Post Type rules.
