Custom checkout fields

Capture exactly what you need at signup — from dietary preferences to file uploads — and carry it through to the subscription and every renewal.

  • 27 field types
  • Copy to subscription
  • Carries to renewals

ProRecurring billing

Subscriptions often need data WooCommerce doesn’t collect — sizes, dietary prefs, delivery notes, a logo upload. The Checkout Builder (Pro) adds custom fields (27 field types across standard, advanced, and layout) to the checkout, then copies the values onto the subscription and forward to renewal orders so fulfillment always has them. This recipe captures custom checkout data.

What you get
  • Collect any data at checkout with 27 field types.
  • Custom values copy onto the subscription record.
  • Values carry forward to every renewal order.
  • Display them on order and subscription screens.

Good to know

Notes & edge cases

Without Copy to subscription, custom data lives only on the initial checkout order.
File upload fields require Uploads enabled (and a max file size) in Checkout Builder settings.
Custom field values are stored as order meta (`_arraysubs_cf_*`) and appear in WooCommerce CSV exports.
