Conditional checkout fields
Keep checkout clean — reveal fields only when they’re relevant, based on what the customer already chose.
- Show/hide by answer
- Real-time rules
- Hidden = not submitted
Asking everyone everything bloats checkout. Visibility rules (Pro) show or hide a field based on another field’s value — reveal ‘Company name’ only when ‘Customer type’ is ‘Business’. Rules evaluate in real time, combine with AND, and hidden fields aren’t validated or submitted. This recipe adds conditional fields.
- Fields appear only when relevant to the customer.
- Rules evaluate live as the form is filled.
- Hidden fields are excluded from validation and submission.
- Cleaner, shorter-feeling checkout.
