Crossgrade between similar plans
Some switches aren’t up or down — they’re sideways. Let customers swap between plans of similar value with no proration math.
- Lateral plan swaps
- No proration by default
- Auto-detected by price
A crossgrade is a lateral switch between plans of similar value — swapping a Coffee box for a Tea box, or Plan A for Plan B at the same price. ArraySubs detects a crossgrade when the two plans’ normalized daily rates are within 5% of each other, and applies no proration or credit by default. You list the swap targets on Linked Products. This recipe enables sideways switching.
- Customers swap sideways between similar plans.
- No proration or credit is applied by default.
- Crossgrade is auto-detected when prices are within 5%.
- An optional flat crossgrade fee can be added.
