Per-tier session limits (streaming-style)
Sell screens like the streaming services — each plan gets its own number of simultaneous logins, enforced automatically.
- Limit by plan
- Basic 1 / Standard 3 / Premium 5
- Highest match wins
Streaming taught everyone that ‘number of screens’ is a sellable feature. Login Limit rules (Pro) cap concurrent sessions per plan — Basic 1, Standard 3, Premium 5 — and when a member exceeds it, the oldest session drops. Unlike the global cap, these are per-tier. (For the store-wide anti-sharing cap, see the Manage-subscriptions ‘limit concurrent logins’ recipe.) This recipe sets per-tier seats.
- Each tier gets its own simultaneous-device allowance.
- Exceeding the limit logs out the oldest session.
- Higher tiers sell more ‘screens’.
- Falls back to the global default when no rule matches.
