Memberships often need more than name and email — a company, a member ID, preferences, an uploaded document. Profile Builder (Free) adds custom profile fields to My Account → Account Details (and the admin user profile), with six field types: text, textarea, select, date, checkbox, and file upload. This recipe adds custom member fields.

  1. Enable custom fields

    In ArraySubs → Profile Builder → Profile Form, turn on Enable custom profile fields.

    Click Add Field, set the Label, Type (text/textarea/select/date/checkbox/file), Required, and help text; reorder by dragging. Save Configuration.

Notes & edge cases

Fields appear on My Account → Account Details and the admin Users → Edit User screen — not at WooCommerce checkout (use Checkout Builder for that, Pro).
Checkbox fields can’t be marked required; file uploads validate type and size.
Disabling or deleting a field never deletes already-stored member data.
