Redirect the product page to your sales page
Drive buyers to a designed landing page instead of the default product template — 301 to your sales page or 404 a checkout-only product.
- 301 to a sales page
- Or 404 a hidden product
- Checkout still works
Default WooCommerce product templates rarely sell as well as a designed landing page. Redirect Product Page (Pro) sends a subscription product’s public URL to a custom page (301) or returns a 404 for checkout-only products — while add-to-cart and checkout keep working and sitemaps auto-exclude the product. This recipe redirects a product page.
- The product URL 301s to your designed sales page.
- Or returns a 404 for checkout-only products.
- Add-to-cart and checkout links keep working.
- Sitemaps (core, Yoast, Rank Math) auto-exclude the product.
