Multiple subscriptions per customer

The open model — a customer can own as many subscriptions as they like and add several to one cart. It’s the default, and this recipe confirms the settings.

  • Several in one cart

Most stores want customers to hold more than one subscription — a box plus a membership, two seats, multiple products. ArraySubs allows this out of the box: there’s no per-customer cap, and a customer can add several subscriptions to one cart. This recipe documents the exact General Settings for the open, multi-subscription model so you can confirm (or restore) it.

What you get
  • A customer can own unlimited concurrent subscriptions.
  • Several subscription products can be bought in one order.
  • Plans with different billing cycles can share a cart.
  • No checkout blocks — the most permissive model.

Notes & edge cases

Subscriptions always require an account — guest checkout is not available for subscription products (Auto Create Account handles this).
Some automatic gateways restrict mixing different billing cycles in one payment.
To cap customers to a single live subscription instead, see the one-subscription-per-customer recipe.
