Compare features across plan tiers

Give every tier its own entitlements so Basic, Pro, and Enterprise each show exactly what they unlock — in the customer’s My Features view.

ProSwitching, features & credit

When you sell tiers, each one needs its own entitlements. Feature Manager (Pro) supports per-variation features on a variable subscription, so Basic, Pro, and Enterprise each define their own Toggle/Number/Text entitlements. Customers then see exactly what their plan grants on the My Features page. This recipe sets per-tier features for comparison.

What you get
  • Each tier (variation) carries its own entitlement set.
  • Customers see their plan’s features on the My Features page.
  • Per-tier numbers, toggles, and text differentiate plans clearly.
  • Switching plans swaps entitlements immediately.

Set up

Set it up in 3 steps

A step-by-step guide drawn from the ArraySubs user manual. Open the linked page for the full walkthrough and screenshots.

  1. Build tiers as variations

Create a variable subscription with a tier attribute (Basic/Pro/Enterprise) — see the Bronze/Silver/Gold recipe for the tier setup.

    Create & Configure Subscription Products
  2. Define features per variation

On the Variations tab, open each variation’s Feature Manager section and add that tier’s entitlements (e.g. Projects 5 / 25 / Unlimited).

  3. Show features in My Account

In Settings → Feature Manager, enable Show in My Account so subscribers see their tier’s entitlements on the My Features page.

Good to know

Notes & edge cases

The storefront ‘What’s Included’ list is simple-product only; per-tier entitlements on variable products surface in My Account, not on the product page.
The ‘Enable Feature Comparison’ setting is reserved for a future side-by-side compare during plan switching and has no active UI yet — build a visible comparison with your own product-page table or per-tier ‘What’s Included’ pages.
Features are only shown for Active and Trial subscriptions.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Not yet on the storefront — the ‘Enable Feature Comparison’ setting is reserved for a future in-switch comparison. Today, define per-variation features (shown in My Features) and build a visible compare table on your sales page.

Yes. Each variation stores its own independent feature list, so tiers can differ entirely in toggles, numeric limits, and text perks.
